The Neuro-Rehabilitation Centers at Middleboro & Worcester specialize in the care and treatment of persons
recovering from neurological disorders, traumatic and acquired brain injury. Our experienced interdisciplinary team
provides the care, safety, and security often needed to address challenging behavior following brain injury.
- Voluntary admission, no active homicidal/suicidal behavior
- Acquired and traumatic brain injury
- On-staff physician, nurses, behavior specialists, life skill trainers, social workers, recreation therapists, dietician, physical, occupational, and speech therapists
- Support groups for families dealing with brain injury
- Behavior data tracking and analysis
- Staff trained in non-aversive behavior management. No punishment procedures used. Staff certified in non-violent crisis intervention. Certified brain injury specialists on staff
- Support and supervision from 1-1 to community re-entry
- Safety/location checks 24 hours a day, 7 days a week
- Weekly psychiatry and behavior rounds
